• Barriers aren't movable. They're tied to the spot where they were created.
• Teddy can create only one barrier at time. When she creates another one, the first one disappears immediately.

History: Since her dad was a professional photographer and had to do a lot of traveling, Teddy grew up with just her mom in a small town nearby the East Coast. Despite the fact that she missed her dad badly, she had a happy and fairly normal childhood.

Her magical abilities were brought up first when she was in high school. Teddy nearly broke her nose as she ran into a magical barrier she had created by accident. It took her some time to figure out what exactly happened, but once Teddy truly understood that she possessed some very special powers, she managed to use them at will. Through, she had a hard time learning to control these powers. The barriers wouldn't appear where she wanted them to be, and their size and intensity were set randomly. Some of them were huge but as fragile as glass, others could hold a gun projectile but had roughly the size of the palm of her hand. Soon she realized that she needed more than some books about magic to exploit her full magical potential.

After barely passing high school (studying never was and probably never will be something she's into), Teddy received a letter from the academy. She saw the opportunity and took it straight away.
